Meet The 2024 TPS Staff
Principal's Message
Tooradin Primary School is a rural, family oriented, school of fourteen classes where caring for each other occurs in an environment that promotes, independence, perseverance, respect, co-operation and courtesy. Our older students help and inspire our younger students as they learn and grow into Global thinkers throughout the various stages of their development. We work together at Tooradin Primary School designing programs to meet the individual learner's needs celebrating the unique gifts and talents of every child focusing on preparing our learners for 'their' futures. We have high quality staff committed to providing first class education for your child ensuring ever child has opportunities that enrich and advance their learning capabilities within a supportive, stimulating and happy school environment.
We encourage our children to be the best they can be. This means that although we are a small school we focus on catering for the individual needs of all our children. The development of a strong partnership between parents/caregivers and the school is very important to us. We encourage parents/caregivers to share what they know about their children with us. We have a genuine ‘open-door policy’ and welcome questions and encourage people to raise concerns with us to help us improve our school.
We place great emphasis on:
We are an environmentally friendly school with a focus on healthy living and sustainability. Our community is very supportive of the school and well represented by a committed School Council. Our supporting School Council ensures that we have the resources to provide not just quality education within our school environment but also a diverse range of learning opportunities in the wider environment.
If you would like to know more about our school or if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me or contact the school office to arrange a visit. We look forward to working with you.
