Wellbeing

We use The Social Thinking Superflex Curriculum in the senior classes and Social Explorers program for junior classes while incorporating The Zones Of Regulation across all levels to fully develop student understanding of themselves and others emotional wellbeing. Students will join in stories, games and activities that aim to provide a fun, motivating way to improve student’s social and behavioural flexibility. This program also assists our students to develop better strategies to manage their own emotions and behaviour while developing a greater awareness of other people’s feelings/ moods.
Each classroom also runs a weekly Circle Time session. The aims of these sessions are to;
Positive classroom climate that impacts wellbeing and academic outcomes.
Positive Teacher-student relationships
Effective approaches to reduce bullying
Developing pro-social behaviour
